10th Annual Distinguished Service Awards 2012

The Distinguished Service Award is the Ontario Tennis Association’s highest honour. On Saturday, October 20, three deserving individuals received this award, presented to them at a dinner held at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club: Jimmy Wong from Thorncliffe Park Tennis Club,  Meg Fletcher from the Scarboro Bluffs Tennis Club and Betty Webster from Dundas Hamilton Thistle Club. It is important to point out that all our DSA recipients are volunteers. Their commitment to tennis and their community is an inspiration to volunteers in clubs throughout the province.

Jimmy, Betty, Meg, thank you again for your lifelong contribution to tennis and for setting the standard for present and future directors, club executives and volunteers at all levels of our sport.
If you know someone who might quality for this award, please visit our website and complete the DSA nomination form prior to April 30, 2013.
